The connector by Edwin

Task:
I was assigned a job in literary circles which was Connector; the connector basically finds connection between the book and real life and writes about them due to experience. I did and here it is.

Connector:
Chapter 12 page 88, In this chapter the author describes how Marcy the protagonist hates shopping but loves clothes, she hate shopping because every time she goes shopping, she never find  her size especially when she spot something she really admires at the corner of her eye. She also hates shopping because of the places she has to shop at, she has to shop at the cubby section because of her weight issues and she has to shop for a dress that she hates because she looks even chubbier.

  ---Connection to the real life

I can relate to what she’s going through because back when I was chubby and above average, in Africa I had to buy things that were above my age size. I remember this one specific time that me and father went to Shoprite in Lilongwe by the side shops to see if we can get me a pair or two of shoes but we couldn’t, this is because my size wasn't right for me since I was chubby and the size above my age was too big. Instead me and my father decided to go back home which was disappointing and just real sad. 3-4 days after my dad presented me with a basket to shoes to pick from and I picked all of them, this was only because I knew that other moments of getting shoes just like this were rare, and I was right after that I never got another moment just like that one so I believe that the reason I got shoes to pick from at home was because my size was rare and he didn’t like to traveling long distances to shops for things that are pretty most probably aren’t there. ………………………………………………………………………………………………………The End
