Hello everyone, I'm back with another blog post, sadly the last one actually. I hope I can entertain you with this last post though! So I was the illustrator for this assignment, and those images are located below. Without further ado, lets get started!
So the first picture resembles the hearing in which it is decided whether she (Ms. Finney) is allowed to stay at school (due to her unimpressive ways of teaching) or not, with purposely drawn tension around the characters in the room at the moment. The hearing ends in Ms. Finney's favor, but she resigns in fear anyways. You can see Joel and Marcy sitting together very awkwardly, crossing their fingers for Ms. Finney to win the hearing. A couple meters away to the right their parents stand, and to the left a bunch of visitors are standing and listening carefully. Ms. Finney is standing to the side of the judge who is desperately asking for order and attention, here is the picture!
So the second half of my picture shows how Joel is picking up MArcy in order to get ready for the hearing, and this scene is also a little stranger than the rest. It is more of a romance part, and they both start to smile. There's really not any more to explain this, except that the setting is Marcy's house and you see her mom running away, weirdly. Its strange, I know!
